8 Easy Steps

To get your yacht delivered.

Get a quote from us

Click here to open a new yacht delivery quote form.

Takes about five minutes to complete. Make a list of questions.
Step 1

Follow up phone conversation

We’ll call you to discuss details and answer your questions.

We’ll provide a ‘Quick Quote’ and Services Agreement that covers everything you need to know.

Review these, and ask any further questions.
Step 2

Sign Services Agreement and pay deposit

All done electronically, no printing or scanning of documents required.

10% deposit secures the delivery.
Step 3

Planning and preparation

We’ll begin to work closely with you and set expectations for the yacht delivery.

You’ll receive “The Salty Guide”; our step-by-step telling you everything you need to know and do to ready your vessel for delivery.

We can assist if the yacht is remote to your location, and can travel to your yacht early to take care of everything if needed.
Step 4

Confirm delivery and crew travel to vessel

When we have a weather window, 50% deposit is payable and crew travel arrangements are secured.

Our crew will travel to your yacht, undertake pre-departure checks, crew safety inductions, provisioning, refuelling and ready her for sea.
Step 5

Departure from origin

Throw lines! Vessel is underway continuously and crew settles into watch keeping patterns.

You are sent a daily position report via SMS (usually at 1800hrs).

You can SMS us if needed, as cell coverage is reasonable during coastal passages.

Follow position of vessel via tracker.
Step 6

Arrival into destination

Yacht is cleaned. We hope to meet you for a de-brief.

Handover either in-person, with your authorised representative or over the phone.

Balance of delivery is payable on handover. Keys can be left with a marina office or on-board.

We can stay behind for one or more days if needed to take care of anything in your absence.

Crew return travel to home port.
Step 7

Handover documents and feedback

Useful handover documents sent electronically. Client Feedback Form issued.

Yacht delivery process is complete.
Step 8

9 FAQ’s

Answers to common questions.

Registration and Insurance

Your vessel must be registered and insured. We will liaise with your vessels insurer to ensure coverage during the delivery.
